Enjoyed an afternoon walking the grounds and enjoying the history of this hidden gem. Children enjoyed learning about it and looking at the dates and names on headstones. Buildings are so rich with information and history.

Ben and Mrs Too , like previous reviewers, found ourselves enveloped by exactly the aura of tranquility often associated with Quakers. On the drive in, a worker on a riding mower waved to us as we passed. We continued on to park in front of...More

Don't miss checking out the interior of the building, which is one of the oldest friend's meeting houses in the country and the oldest existing frame structure buildings existing in Maryland.

I've been here twice for worship--from a non-Quaker background--and OK, I'm kinda of a church dork, but I really don't think there's a better way to experience a historical worship space than through attending worship. The building is beautiful (but not air-conditioned, do note!), and...More

This meeting house is one of the oldest religious buildings in the U.S. The simplicity and peace of the building and the site are unparallelled. I live in Easton, and I like to go sit inside and think about all the generations of people who...More

Charming, touching, history in fact. The oldest place of worship in continuous use in the United States. Peaceful.
