3 of my girlfriends and I went to see Vince Gill and the Time Jumpers band on March 1 and they were unbelievable. The musicians were so talented and the music made you dance in your seats. It was nice to hear Vince Gill sing 2 of his songs but the other musicians in the band sang also and they... More

My wife and I plus another couple saw Ken and Brad Kolodner in the Avalon Theatre's Stoltz Listening Room this past Saturday evening - what a great show this father/son act put on. Accompanied by another guitarist, they played two sets lasting about an hour or so each and thoroughly entertained the crowd with their easy-listening folk music centered around... More

We have been a member of the theater's Producers' Guild since we have been in Easton. They have weekly, high quality, performances featuring local as well as nationally artists.

The folks at the Avalon do a great job of nabbing truly good musicians, fromthe well-known, to locals who have yet to be discovered by the masses. Much of the offerings are meant to engage mid life adults and older, but the variety is there.....folk, bluegrass, classical, and who knows but it's good music...

Intimate concert venue - fantastic acoustics, intimate seating (not a bad one in the house). Check out the Monte Alexander Jazz Festival over Labor Day weekend for a special treat! Wonderful artists (Livingston Taylor and Kat Parsons) are regulars here.

Love this theater. The best of the old movie houses that have been renewed. Cozy, great acoustics, fine view of the stage from upper balcony. This is the way I like to experience music. Have been here only once but we'll be watching email for notice of other favorite musicians. We heard Richard Thompson and Sam Amidon-- one of the... More

I have been going to the Avalon theater since i was a child. Back then it was a movie theater - in fact THE movie theater for Talbot, Caroline and Dorchester (i dont think Dorchester had a theater but not 100% sure). The only other place to see movies was the Churchhill Theater in Churchhill. The Avalon by far was... More

This is not only a place to enjoy as a night out for a concert or play but a place that you can rent for your next party. You can arrange for food and drink and from the top floor balcony there is a spectacular view of downtown Easton.
