My two young boys had fun on the rock climbing walls and playground. We walked over to the bridge and they enjoyed tossing leaves and branches in to the water and watching them float down the creek. Not a super impressive park, but good for one visit.

This side of the park has come a long way. The dog park is cool and the play set is a good touch. Plenty of space to play. It also has a small pond at the top of the hill. You get your homeless people that come through but the majority of the time they don't bother you.

When you go to events in the "park," or walk around the perimeter hiking and bike path, you are in West Meadow Park. It's usually very well maintained, has plenty of parking, and the flat, wide, asphalt covered path is easy on the legs. There are plenty of places to duck in out of the sun, (or weather), and now... This park is one place I will not take my grandkids at all! It is nasty! I hate to say it but you just don't feel safe there nor do I feel comfortable letting them play without concern that they may come unpon needles and other things I can even write about!! There are many other wonderful places in Elkton... More

Visiting the area and options are pretty limited for playgrounds. We were looking just for a brief stop to get some energy out. The playground we stopped at was decent. An interesting climbing wall that was different from other areas. There's a creek to look at...swings...it was fine :-)

Poorly drained. They never should have built a park in swampy area. The roadway and walk path are too narrow and cars do not obey 10 mph posted signs so you have to walk in the grass to avoid being run over. There was black ice on Monday. And today the park was closed. Instead of making it safe to... More

Floods every time it rains. County doesn't take care of park. Local park where kids play soccer on weekends and people walk around track for exercise. There is a playground and several pavilions.

This is a good size park with a 1-mile? jogging path all around. Yes, it's also a car path but going the opposite direction. It has 3 separate playground areas, 1 big one with multiple slides, swings, and rock wall, and 2 smaller areas for toddlers. Plenty of parking, lots of trees for shade and benches, a sand volleyball court,... More

There is a nice paved narrow road that is much improved over the dirt road that it was in the past. However, you share it with cars and have to be aware of the traffic. There isn't much playground equipment.

the slide was defaced with some really bad wording my kids noticed right away. Another parent let their 3yr old just pull down his pants and pee in the grass. left right then and there and went to Lums Pond in DE.
