The show was wonderful. The meal, we'll, not so much. Unfortunately, the chicken and fish were dry. But, the show sure did make up for the disappointing meal.

The dinner was delicious, the show began when the actors took drink orders. The play was Dixie Swim Club, and it was exceptional. Finding the place was a challenge. Parking is hidden behind a square of buildings and entry is from inside the square. Perhaps we are incapable of following directions, but we drove around several times trying to find... More

The Washington County Playhouse is a wonderful gem in downtown Hagerstown that people don't realize is here! The productions are vibrant and well produced. The actors are your waiters. They have a salad bar and full buffet. The drinks are fun and have theatre themes. I have never been to a show that I've not had a wonderful time. A little... More

I read Shawn's message about the family who brought a 2 month old last Friday and are now posing negative comments {as well as their friends who have never attended a show}. I will Go Tell It On The Mountain" LOUDLY how FAB Washington County Playhouse is; the shows are 5 Star; the food is excellent; the staff is 1st... More

My sisters and I saw "Tuna Christmas" last weekend. We were delighted with the theater from the moment we walked through the front door. We loved the intimate setting and close proximity to the stage and actors. The food was delicious (Roast Turkey, Mashed Potatoes, Stuffing, Candied Carrots, Broccoli Cheese Casserole, Baked Ham, Rockfish in Old Bay Sauce, Dinner Rolls... More

Have been to this theater many times. 4 times alone in the past year. Their productions are top notch. All the staff are courteous and professional. Their website clearly shows layout of theater seating. When I've had questions, they were quick to respond.

This is one of the best places to go for great entertainment in the Tri-State area. The food is good, the owners make an effort to make everyone feel welcomed & they try to pick shows that appeal to a variety of audiences! As a performer, it is also an amazing place to work! They make sure that you know... More

I've been a performer and an avid audience member of all kinds of theater for a long time. As such, I've partaken in and seen a lot of shows, from community theater to Broadway. I can honestly say that the Washington County Playhouse puts it all together in a neat package that is fun for almost all ages (who takes... More

Imagine a troupe of actors coming to your home at dinner and staging a first-class show! Well, this is sort of like that in reverse, but pleasurable, welcoming, and featuring some very talented actors, actresses, and stage crafters! A great place to have a date night, and we loved it so much that we became members, so every 6 weeks,... More

Great theater, good food and more important its live. Owners work to deliver a wonderful experience for all. For adults and special performances for kids over 5. Will be back. Children under 5 are too young to sit still and be quiet as to not disturb other patrons.
