Took our almost-84-year-old Poppa back to the NAS where he served in the early 1950's. Enjoyed the atmosphere and the good folks who helped us navigate the museum. Great gift shop. Thank you, guys!

Although she is three years, she thoroughly enjoyed herself. The static displays were her favorite. We happened to visit when the local fire/EMS/PD had displays up and she got to sit in fire trucks as well. A GREAT morning spent educating my granddaughter.

Here with young kids, nice open layout but exhibits were very well labeled. When you realize how many astronauts worked at NAS Pax River, you get a real sense of how important the place is. The F14 flight simulator is just a computer screen but...More

Small but very nice air museum. They have so many great planes from new to old. Great gift shop as well, and you can go to the gift shop with paying admission.

Our grandkids come every summer and stay with us. The museum is always on their list of things to do. I retired from Naval aviation so it a joy to take them around and explain the different exhibits. Definitely recommend for all ages.

Aviation aficionados, when visiting Southern Maryland stop by and wander a bit. The Pax River Naval Air Museum is a medium size museum formerly associated with the US Navy's Naval Air Command but now a privately funded museum. Well worth the stop to appreciate the...More
