We went with our daughter and 5 yr. old grandson. We were not aware that there was a two mile trek in each direction to get to and from the beach. While the trails were clearly marked, there are several trails with no indication of...More

Go early for the mile hike to the beach for great birding along the way. The beach is small, but you can search for fossils. We went on a Sunday and the park got very crowded later in the day.

There is an entrance fee to this park. It has a number of hiking trails each with varying difficulties and lengths. We all enjoyed the trails which were amply supplied with resting places and even supplied bags so that we could throw out our trash!...More
