We took the ferry from St.Michaels to Oxford where we were staying. It's a small ferry I think maybe 6 cars at a time. Only takes a few minutes to cross.

The captain and her first mate were a great couple ...... we really enjoyed traveling with them. The river was beautiful that day and we're anxious to visit again soon.

we enjoyed taking the ferry from Oxford to St. Micheals, MD. The "captain" was friendly and we met some nice folks on the short trip.

Great little ferry. Only holds nine cars. Short trip between Belview and Oxford. Great ride across the Tred Avon. Enjoy!

We were in Oxford for a couple getaway and took the ferry over to Bellevue to visit St. Michaels. It is a short ride but beautiful!!

The Bellvue side is rural and there is no public transit to St Michaels. I don't know if there is any St. Michael's-based taxi service, but if there is, I would expect that they would be willing to meet you at the ferry... More
