We go all the time to the zoo, my son loves it. It's connected to the park one side so you can play after walking through. They do all sorts of activities throughout the year for all ages. The staff members are friendly and informative, you can tell they really care about their animals. It's free but they welcome donations.

One of only a few free admission zoo's left in the country. Have seen first hand how much the zoo has expanded and improved over the years. I always drop a few dollars into the donation slot!

For a town the size of Salisbury, this is one amazing place. They have so many animals and places to relax and an adjacent play land for kids called Ben's Red Swings! Your children will be entertained for hours in the outdoors.

I have lived here my entire life and I still enjoy going to our local zoo... The zoo has grown in so many ways... New animal exhibits are constantly being added and Bens Red Swings is such a nice area to let your children play after walking through the zoo... The one thing I wish for the zoo would be... More

We were staying in MD in Ocean City. Took a day trip West to the zoo. Only about an hour away. Not crowded. Kids love the animals. The zoo is free, they do have a donation box but nobody was begging you to donate. Also a small play ground outside. Free parking. Kids were beat after running around all day.... More

Great place to take the little ones. It isn't a huge zoo, so you don't feel like you can't see everything in one day, or spend more time watching your favorites.

We love visiting this zoo, mostly because its FREE!! This is virtually unheard of. It's a great size especially for young children to be able to see everything in one trip. Very stroller friendly as well and the staff are very nice.

I live in Florida and every time I come home, to Salisbury, the very first thing I do is visit. It is a free zoo that is attached to the park, which is a great place to walk around. They have an herb garden that has bricks around it that you are able to purchase for a loved one or... More
