Since this is a free zoo, i take my kids there all the time. The zoo itself is small but you can still spend hours there. It is connected to the City park which has picnic tables and several play areas, one is right beside the Zoo. You really can make a whole day trip with a picnic lunch. There... More

Here is a quaint zoo, in a local community. Worth a walk through. Great children's playground right outside, Bens Red Swings, with Misters when its hot. A great picnic place. There is a 3 miles run around the zoo and local neighborhood for the wiling!

This little zoo is just the right size for a couple of hours off walking with young children with an attached play area called Ben's Red Swings that provides hours of playtime with play areas for all ages including a water sprinkler area. At the Zoo enjoy a small and affordable gift shop as well as clean restrooms and plenty... More

This little Zoo sits right in the heart of Salisbury. It is FREE to all and is surrounded by the city park. The animals are well cared for and they are always making improvements to the enclosures. There is also a high number of nesting Herons whose gigantic nests can be seen in the trees all over the park. Buffalo,... More

When you are in Salisbury, Maryland, make it a point to visit the Salisbury Zoo as well as Ben's Red Swings. Zoos around the world are usually quite large and house many, many animals. As one who would like to rip-off the locks at most, I was pleasantly surprised when I visited the Salisbury Zoo: Very "laid-back," and gives the... More

Our little school raised more money in a zoo fundraising campaign than any other school and won a day at the Salisbury Zoo. It is a small zoo with a surprisingly large variety of animals. The zookeepers put on an informational show for our kids and they got to pet a couple of the animals followed, of course, by a... More

Stopped on our way to the eastern shore. Free!! Always a bonus, zoo is small but perfect for quick stop with little kids. Also has a great playground. Inexpensive gift shop.

It keeps kids interested. the children loved the park and nice clean. I will definitely return and recommended to others. Is best for children under 5 not many options of animals available.
