Chesapeake Ghost Walk

We had a great time on the Ghost walk and listening to all the amazing things that took place. Definitely Add this to your list of things to do.

We escaped from pouring rain to spend a lovely couple of hours at this museum. It's a somewhat eccentric collection, with plenty of historical items and Americana. Pleasant and informative curator. A nice bit of small town history. The miniature section with the one-inch Bible and dressed fleas was impressive!

While biking or walking around the historic town of Snow Hill, don't miss your chance to visit the Museum. It is rich with local history and relics of the last few centuries. Neat experience!

An interesting stroll through Snow Hill's history, very friendly staff, didn't take too long, either.

They have a good deal to see. Many interesting things to see for the elderly and plenty of things to see for the kids. It was worth the 3 dollar admission.

Mrs. Purnell began her artwork at a very late age, much like some other ladies. She did needlework. The small museum houses MANY household and medical items from the turn of the century. LOW, LOW admission, fun tour. The girls (ages 9 & 13 )especially loved it.

THis museum is a treasure trove of the history of this town and many similar ones in the 19th and early 20th Centuries, lovingly collected but expertly displayed. I expected to spend a quarter of an hour in this small museum, but reluctantly left after an hour.
