The UW developed Ski Program for children runs through the winter months. It is very well put together, and runs very smoothly. My son had a fantastic experience, with supportive counselors, and a great mix of kids of all ages. We wish we had signed up for more sessions!

All 3 locations are fantastic in different ways: Dundee Creek tends to be the least busy and most protected from wind, Hammerman Beach is a bit more challenging and boasts lots of wildlife, and Sunset Cove has relatively calm water and a built-in opportunity for beachside lunch/cocktail post row. My husband and I took a SUP lesson 3 years ago... More

I like to take my paddle board out and love when a friend joins me. My friends have rented their boards several times now from Ultimate Water Sports at their Dundee Creek location. The service is always friendly and we have never had to wait for a board to be available. I have even rented a life jacket from them... More

We loved our experience kayaking with Ultimate Watersports. They have three locations to choose from, and we chose to go to the Gunpowder State Park, Hammerman Beach location The state park is beautiful, there was easy parking (just follow the Ultimate Watersports signs in), and it was a scenic area to kayak in. You do pay to get into the... More

Hi Victoria! So glad you enjoyed paddling the beautiful water trails from our Hammerman Beach location. We hope you will take an opportunity to check out our incredible Dundee Creek and Sunset Cove Tiki Bar locations as well. They are both unique and well worth a visit. In fact, Sunset Cove was just voted one of the ten best waterfront... More

There are different parts to the park, and we chose to go to the Dundee Creek park. You can launch your own boat for about $10 or you can rent kayaks at the Ultimate Water sports shed. We chose to rent kayaks and had a great time!! They instruct you where to go if it's your first time there. Everyone... More

This place can get very busy. We arrived shortly after they opened and there was limited availability for kayaks at the Dundee Creek location. The staff was helpful, friendly, and accommodating. We were offered some tips of where we could go to very wildlife while we were kayaking. Since the Dundee Creek location is location right next to the marina,... More

What a tremendous find! How my friends who live in Baltimore have missed this park is beyond me. Great location, clean, clean water, and super friendly, helpful staff. One lesson and I'm hooked!

Ultimate Watersports provided support for numerous Open Water Triathlete Swim clinics at Gun Powder State Park. They are exceptionally professional, responsive and were always attentive to our needs. Safety for our swimmers was the highest priority for all our programs and Ultimate Watersports always delivered.

THE PARK This is a great little gem set in some of the most serene, cleanest water you will find in the area. It's $5-7 for park entrance, there is plenty of space and parking. If it looks crowded, it's either a Saturday, or everyone has flocked to the same pavilions. Bathrooms, changing rooms, locker rooms, and showers on site.... More
