This is an awesome oasis in the middle of Brewster! We bring our kayaks to fresh and salt water locations all over,Brewster. Our favorite place to paddle is Cliff Pond in Nickerson State Park. It's quiet and undeveloped. The only company you'll have is fishermen...More

We packed a lunch and headed to the park while staying in Brewster. It was quiet and secluded. The sounds of birds and fresh smell of spring made for an enjoyable lunch, along with the company of my wonderful wife!

My experience with Nickerson is in seasons other than the crowded summer. Every fall for the past 10 years, my family takes a hike around one of the lakes and then drinks hot chocolate. The campgrounds are lovely and there's enough to check out to...More

Year-round hiking in this beautiful place , Kettle ponds and woods. Lots of Nature and Wildlife. One of the few places on Cape Cod where you can actually get lost which is a plus.

Park has tons of hiking trails. We were there in November when the camp ground was closed. Very quiet and peaceful. Perfect for a nice, relaxing walk on easy to cover trails.

The State did not answer this question except to say there were repairs and cleanup they had to do.
Can you tell me if there are any sites for trailers with direct access to a pond?

There are no sites directly on ponds. You have to walk down a trail to them
I've read a lot of reviews and many say that some sites are fairly private and others are not. Can anyone provide insight into the best areas that will give more privacy? I'm hoping to have a little more room for the kids to run around. Thanks!!!

In general the sites away from the water and further out are larger and will be more private. Check out areas 6, 6x and 7.
