This trip was done on a weekday, not weekend, which is probably advisable. The cruise was very well done, with the narration being first rate. Port and starboard there were unrelenting vistas to view. It would be well to watch the weather forecast in advance...More

I've been along the canal walkway multiple times. From running a few miles to taking a leisurely stroll with the family, this area epitomizes New England nautical nostalgia. Not only do salty, briny smells greet the nose, visitors to the area will see sea birds...More

How can one not enjoy spending time on the canal watching the water, boats, yachts and huge commercial vessels pass by. Usually there is a breeze on a warm sunny day making it more comfortable. Bring a chair and sit for awhile!

I biked, ran or walked the Sagamore side path every day while camping at Scusset State Reservation. It's 7 miles long, paved and almost flat, with wonderful views all along the canal. Lots of wildlife, interesting boats and barges, a few places where you can...More

I ride the canal two or three ties a week, both sides. On the Buzzards Bay side I ride an eBike due to the wind. On the Sagamore side, I ride my Cannondale or my Trek because the wind is not as intense. The 6.5...More
