Its a small place but beautiful scenery. We got in around 1230 and saw 3 ships come in with the catch of the day! Saw many seals! Enjoyed it very much

Stopped by here around 4 o'clock on a Sunday. Looking at the reviews I figured we were probably going to be late and not see any fishing boats or seals.Luckily, there was one boat unloading and quite a few Seals. I thought it was really...More

Lobster prices are high, but the lobster rolls here are worth it. They are chock full of utterly fresh, sweet meat. Only caveat: the tools are not toasted, which I prefer. If you are buying fish to take home and cook, you cannot do better....More

If you go at about 2pm you can see the fishing boats unload their catches for the day and all the seals that hang around looking for scraps! We saw 2 boats unloading dogfish and mackerel. Super fun!

I did not eat here, but went for the seal experience. Observation deck is very large and you can see the fishing boats unloading clearly. I went on a Friday (July 6th) and it was not busy. Got there about 9:30 am with no boats...More

Fish market is adjacent to the docks where the local fishing fleet unloads. I don't think you'll find fresher fish unless you catch it yourself!

I can't get enough of seals, so spending time on the docks at the Fish Market Pier was great fun. Lots of seals hang out here waiting for the fishing boats to come unload their catch (usually between 12 - 2). Fishermen unloading their boats...More

Fried fish plate for kids were good. Lobster roll was tough and expensive. No place to sit outside. Lots of hype

We spent a fortune on Lobster Rolls and dishes throughout our visit to the Cape. Our best Lobster experience, however, was first watching the boats unloads their freshly caught lobsters, and then getting a steamed 5 pounder (for under $50) to bring back to our...More

Lobster rolls are a Cape classic. Light on the mayo and fresh lobster meat. Toasted roll. That’s it. Nothing more. Nothing less. This version has celery, far too much mayo and the lobster is watery and tasteless. Doesn’t even seem like freshly cooked lobster meat....More

Captain Mike on the Magic. Visit his website. Abdow Magic I believe. Or Abdow fishing. He leaves from the Chatham fish pier. Good sized boat. We used him for a striper charter and it was great.

There are some seals around when there are fishing boats at the docks. Otherwise you can see seals hauled out at low tide opposite the Chatham Bars Inn.
