So scenic and beautiful. Nice waves and sand. Lots of pretty stones and shells. Good spot for sunset pics or even a wedding.

Just a beautiful beach. Wide, soft sand, things to explore. The rock formations are amazing. It is resident only in season but available for all to explore off season. Worth a trip up to chilmark on a nice day

Our island beach for years. We tend to visit more off season. Carry in and carry out, only porta potties available and no concessions. Take an umbrella as there is no shade at all. Watch the weather reports for great waves for boogey boarding.

the large stones and mist rolling into the cliffs is quite the scene. The parking was easy and a quick flat walk to the beach. Plenty of space to spread out from the crowds

Getting access to this very private beach is not easy. Whatever compromises in you have to make to get a pass, do it! Some places in Chilmark come with passes; some don't; ask before booking. Even local property owners with required stickers cannot get in...More

I've visited this beach in the off-season to photograph the dramatic cliffs, which are slowly being eroded. So sad, but what a backdrop for summer swimming. Too bad it's private so only those who own or rent homes in the area can enjoy this nice...More

We were lucky enough to come here in June before the summer season officially began. Lucy Vincent is a beach only for Chilmark residents, but there was no one to check for beach parking stickers, so we were able to walk right onto the beach....More

There's actually no way to get on unless you know someone or are staying in the town. This changes off season - maybe not till otober though

I'm not sure when the season begins or ends. We were there on for Memorial Day weekend, and we had no problem getting on. I'm thinking the beach season would be when they have lifeguards there, and I would think that most... More
