There are two parking lots here that offer a short hike to an estuary area with fantastic views and abundant wildlife. There were boats staged in the bays that I assumed were clamming. Wonderful views in all directions. Worth the short walk.

From the parking lot there are fantastic views across the marshlands, the estuary and the sea. For those that want to walk there are numerous trails. There were only a few other vehicles there when we visited so it was quiet and peaceful.

It's an extremely picturesque view of the ocean and Orleans. There are short trails that you can walk. You can drive and just enjoy the view or sit on the bench and have lunch.

Hiking at Fort Hill offers a variety of trails, all quite easy, and amazing views of Nauset Marsh and Cove. It's quiet, full of wildflowers and full of birds and butterflies (in July).

Me and my husband decided to visit this area after breakfast. We had no idea what to expect. Upon arriving there are two parking lots, one closer to the Penniman House and another one at the top of the top of the hill, which is...More
