During the day, this beautifully maintained windmill is open to view the interior works and learn about the service they provided for the town. It's a quick visit that affords an opportunity for kids to run around on the grass for a bit too. There are often craft fairs in this same park in the summer making for a nice... More

We simply drove by this on our way to Provincetown. As it is off-season, we could not go inside the windmill...but I enjoy sightseeing anyway.

We stopped to take a group picture in front of the windmill. It really came out nice. Enjoyed seeing it.

Having visited the Jonathan Young Windmill the previous day, we were pleasantly surprised to find this (potentially) working example of pre-Colonial technology open to the public and staffed by a knowledgeable local resident. We were informed that the trees which have grown up around the site affect the wind flow in such a manner as to prevent the safe operation of... Stopped to take pictures of some of the windmills. They are quaint and fun to see as we traveled around Cape Cod. Great for families as most kids probably seldom get the opportunity to see windmills.

My sisters and I stopped to take pictures of the lovely Eastham historic windmill on our last day in Eastham and were so fortunate to find it was being opened.before Jim Owens answered all of our questions and then some. He is virtually a walking textbook on not only the history of this windmill, but windmills in general and in... More

We've visited this windmill each August for the past five years. The stairway up is worth the view and seeing the upper inside. No charge to enjoy the history lesson from the Miller. Ask questions and you will get great answers. There is a donation box should you like to help keep the place operating. There's plenty of parking on... More

This windmill is rich with history! The gentleman inside told us AMAZING stories! We were surprised to hear it is still in working condition! It is definitely worth a 20 minute stop in town to see and take some pictures.

This historic old windmill is well maintained and provides for a few moments away from a hectic vacation schedule. This is a nice site for a few photographs and to spend 15 minutes away from other busy attractions.
