Love bringing the kids here, and when family visits, its a great day. Inexpensive and a unique interactive museum for kids. Food is limited on board, if you can't do fried food, so bring snacks. Kids loved it.

From the tour through the Submarine Lionfish, the PT's and all of the smaller displays, to the State Memorial aboard the Joseph P. Kennedy, all is spit and polish and very uplifting yet somber and respectful. Then, reserve your next three hous or so to be able to see all that is available on Big Mamie, BB59, the Battleship USS... More

I was pleasanylt surprised at how interesting visiting these ships were. As others have mentioned, some spots are tight spaces and require you to climb up and down steep steps. Also, when in the submarine, getting from each compartment, it was challenging to climb over the high opening. Really enjoyed the USS Kennedy and submarine. Being able to go through... More

I dragged my wife to this floating museum last Sunday on what was a wet windy day. On arrival you immediately see the USS Massachusetts moored up next to a submarine and two other ships. Its a great sight. The tour begins with a view of a couple if PT Boats with a audio/video description. Then you can go around... More

Have visited Battleship Cove many times over the years. Always interesting and informative. The on-ship guides are knowledgeable passionate about the experience. I suggest that you allow 2-3 hours as there as a number of ships to visit. Adjacent to the cove are a number of fun restaurants/bars to cap-off your day.

I'm going to suggest that this will be a struggle for anyone for whom tight spaces, lots of stairs and climbing through hatches is challenging. I loved the chance to get aboard the USS Massachusetts and the USS lionfish submarine. A once in a lifetime opportunity. Amazing history. Allow a half day to do it justice. Very reasonable entry price... More

Impressive battleship, destroyer and submarine to walk round and marvel at as well as inside is an MTB display, Entrance was a not unreasonable $18 per person, we went mid October so fairly quiet and as end of season not much in refreshments - one small area on the main deck of the battleship Only suggested improvement is better signage... This is a very nice historical display showing many ships and boats you don't normally see. Their display of PT boats is excellent. The Joseph Kennedy has great historical information and is in great shape. We toured the uss lion fish submarine and although it isn't in as good of shape as the uss bowfin the folks that restored the... More

We visited on the Sunday it was absolutely pouring with rain which was a shame but did not deter us. The USS Massachusetts is a stunning ship - it was my husband's wish to visit again as he had been there over 20 years ago and he told me to take a book in case I was bored. I didn't... More

Very difficult to find. The brochure said took take exit 5 but that exit immediately branched off in two directions. We found signs but due to construction we were directed in a different area. Our GPS directed us to the bridge and told us we arrived as we were above it. Finally a cop in the are gave us good... More
