Tours run daily in the summer: Monday - Saturday at 11am & 2pm and Sundays at 11am. $10/adult, $8/seniors & students, kids under 10 are free. Tours are about 45 minutes long. Sweatshirts are recommended (our icehouse is 28 degrees fahrenheit).

Cape Pond Ice Tour is a great way to spend a half hour especially on a hot day! The no frills tour shows you how the ice business was started and how it is still made today 189 years later.

I had no idea what to expect, and was more than pleasantly surprised. They made what would seem like a dull tour (ice?!) into a very fun and educational time. I absolutely recommend it.

It was wonderful learned so much from the visit. Never knew making a ice cube took so much work. People were very nice and they all work so well together that is nice to see too. Filling the fishing boat was very interesting to watch....More
