We were in Gloucester for a friend's graduation at a nearby college. We chose to do this foodie tour and it was everyone's highlight of the trip. We had six great stops at locally owned restaurants and learned some great historical facts along the way. Our tour guide, Cindy, was a local who did a fabulous job and was very... More

First of all, let me say how friendly and accommodating our tour guide, Cindy, was throughout the tour. We enjoyed clam chowder and a bacon wrapped scallop at Topside Grill. The St. Joseph sandwich at Virgilio's Bakery was yummy and the fish and chips at The Cape Ann Brewing Co. were delicious. Let's not forget the tasty cashew turtles, made... More

Thank you so much for your lovely review; I know that Cindy loves to do tours - rain or shine! We are sorry that you couldn't enjoy sunshine and hope that you venture back to Gloucester in nicer weather. Also check out our Taste Newburyport tour! All the Best, Linnea More

I surprised my boyfriend for his birthday with the Taste of Gloucester tour and he really enjoyed it. We were the only two on the tour because it was still early in the season but we didn't mind. Cindy was so friendly and informative on all things Gloucester. We got to try so many yummy foods too! I think my... More

Cindy is wonderful, trip is full of historic information plus stops along the way for food. Speaking of food there is so much by the last stop at the candy store we took it back to the hotel for a snack later. We would highly recommend this trip!

I did a tour with Cindy and it was fantastic. Lots of great local history, terrific food at local spots and charming shops. I especially loved the St Joseph sandwich at the old-fashioned Italian store!

Though it was January we only skipped one restaurant closed for the season - and didn't miss it. We had oyster stew, tasted olive oils and balsamic vinegars, a St.Joe's sandwich and cannoli on the Italian (West) side of town a flight of local craft brew and a truly excellent fish (haddock) & chips. Topped off by a chocolate turtle... More

It was so nice to have you both on our tour - it's so much fun to run tours in what other tour companies would consider the off-season. We switch our restaurants around (we went to Passports which is outstanding!) to balance our tours and make them always interesting and unique. Please come to Newburyport and check out our tour... We had a lot of fun on the food tour. Fabulous and entertaining tour guide. Food was good, I realize the food was only a sample of different cuisine from the area, but for the money, we felt there could of been more.

My husband and his sister had a "Gloucester Fisherman" grandpa but were only 2 & 5 when he died (they are now 60+) so we took the Ales and Tales tour and loved it. The fisherman, SAM, was entertaining, interesting and told some wonderful, historic stories about Gloucester, the fishing industry there, what it was like to be a fisherman... More

Our sister was visiting from Florida and she had never been to Newburyport. When I called Cindy she indicated they usually ran the tours on the weekends but she made arrangements for our group to tour on a Tuesday. And we had a great time! All our stops were very interesting and we toured an array of restaurants and tastings.... More

Cindy was so gracious and well informed. The food was excellent and we were full. Clam chowder and bacon wrapped scallops were wonderful. Nice walk in the beautiful fall and weather was perfect. Will highly recommend.
