Trip Advisor's #1 of 26 Tours in Gloucester, 7 Seas Whale Watch has had the privilege of introducing thousands of passengers to the many species of whales and marine wildlife that inhabit the waters from Cape Ann and out to the Stellwagen Bank Marine Sanctuary. Our trips run from mid-April to mid-October and are designed to educate, inspire and provide a deeper understanding and appreciation of our fragile marine environment.

We are a family business – Three generations of career captains have worked from this very dock for more than 7 decades. We have a love and respect for the marine environment and a passion for providing the best possible customer experience for you and your family. We look forward to seeing you on the water.

A lovely day to cruise the Atlantic to the feeding grounds of Sabot and the variety of fin whales with our young grandchildren. Let's not forget the one seal bobbing in the waves! A good memory for all!

If you want to see whales then this is a must see trip. We saw 3 species of whales. Trip was amazing. They guaranteed we would see whales and they did not disappoint.

Absolutely amazing. We saw a lot of whales; they were absolutely magnificent. The crew was great- vey knowledgeable. The bartender was great- I sadly don't remember her name, but she loaned me her sweatshirt because I wasn't dressed warm enough. I can't wait to do it again.

We went out on a very cold May afternoon and didn't regret the decision. We saw three types oh whales during the four hour trip. The guide was very knowledgeable and kept us updated throughout the trip. We won a free whale watch at the end of the trip so we hope to be back!

Thoroughly loved this whale watch (5/19/17). Great guides! There was an "unruly and not so well mannered or chaperoned" school group on this tour but the tour guides gritted their teeth and handled themselves well. The rest of us were still able to enjoy ourselves. Glad we were able to see Fan and calf! Kudos to the guides for a... More

The staff was terrific! We had such a great time! We saw several whales and were able to watch them for quite a time. On the way back, we saw Atlantic White-sided dolphins.

It was a wonderful weekend which we got to spend out in deep ocean. They had a great boat, comfortable and clean and spacious enough. Lot of seats with less people so there were enough viewing spaces. The narrator gave a lot of information and explained everything in an informative and fun way. We got a see 4 different type... Last minute decision to book this for a beautiful Saturday. It was definitely the right decision. Sun was shining though it was a little chilly, the trip out to Jeffery's Ledge was beautiful ride. Our naturalist was knowledgeable while allowing you to enjoy the views. Pointed out interesting locations, many species of birds and when we should begin watching the... More

Wow !! That's the first words I can think of... great comfortable roomy boat, fabulous crew, plenty of seating and a very informative naturalist " Jay "...... now the best part, soooo many whales, we saw humpback, finback, and minke's, and when the captain would see more in the distance, he just followed them, on our way back to port,...
