There are many trails to take, they are well marked with paint on the trees and signs too. Some have great views, some are all in the trees. Many levels of difficulty as well. There are lookout towers you can go up in too.

Great views even from the road. Lots of hiking trails, playground, picnic areas. No admission costs during off peak times.

This is a lovely spot to take a vigorous hike or a casual stroll. Lots of wonderful views and soft, wooded trails.

So there seems to be a lot of trails! I have done the one by Mt joe to go.It would be great to go in the fall when the leaves change. Prob best views around.

Great place for a hike very scenic and nice vistas! The hike is not too strenuous and the trails very well marked! Great history of this region also!

You shouldn't miss this drive if you are in the area. The vistas are beautiful and surprising. The overlooks take your breath away. It's not a long drive but so pretty. You can stop and picnic or climb the observation tower for a stunning view....More

My go to spot for a quick dose of nature hike. Very scenic and lots of trails to explore. Occasionally encounter unleashed dogs. Most owners are responsible but remember every dog does NOT necessarily like every other dog.

There are most certainly bears in the area and you should keep alert. They are just doing bear things and not aggressive to most humans so enjoy any sightings and go on your way leaving them in peace. Remember to Respect... More
