Great Cape Cod beach area close to Boston. I am here in winter and beach does not disappoint! Love watching the waves. Great local spots off season for food and drinks. Easy to drive to historical sights.

So nice to be able to easily get to a long stretch of ocean beach so near the big city. Watch the tide tables, though. The beach becomes very narrow at high tide!

A visitor to Nantasket at high tide will see good size surf, especially after a storm at sea. You might even see surfers at the upper beach. This is a very good swimming beach in both high and low tides. Many families bring their children...More

BEAUTIFUL! The beach is great to walk along for shells and sea glass. Sidewalks to walk along the sea wall when the tide is up. Benches to sit and watch the sunrise or set.

This beach is quiet now but must be very busy in the summer. The beach stretches for at least a mile. It is a good spot to go for a nice walk.

Love the beach here, the water can be cold at times. Great place to spend a sunny week day if you can.

I go to Hull often. I swim at Nantucket beach, nice waves when the weather is right. The Hotel has a great restaurant and the beach is great for long walks.

Although the beach is always busy, if you go early you can park on the wall (for free). The view is indescribable and the water is beautiful. At high tide the water does come all the way up to the wall but otherwise you can...More

No, no grill. You can bring no your picnic lunch anyway. You also will find lots of good places to eat in the area.
