Getting to Nantucket involves one of three options, fast ferry, car ferry or plane. For the most part, you can't beat Hy-Line, as the price is fair (only the slow car-ferry is cheaper), good set of arrive-departure times, and short of moderate to heavy surf...More

Easily booked the ferry parking and a Vineyard bus tour with one visit to their Web site. Smooth ride. Good seating. Food and beverage service. On time. Extremely helpful staff, especially in Oak Bluffs. Couldn't have been better.

Take the fast train. With the speed it makes no sense to fly to the island. Flights are unpredictable. The ferry was clean, on-time and enjoyable.
