We didn't do a guided tour, but just the exploration of the grounds and the self guided tour of the mansion was amazing, and a highlight of my visit to the area. The lawn allee was breathtaking and unique.

Be sure to visit Castle Hill on the Crane Estate during your next visit to Ipswich. The tour guides are very knowledgeable, the grounds are gorgeous and the views even better.

yes, the hours posted are accurate. There are limited times and days to visit, but you can drive out to this place most days and drive through the estate grounds, get out and walk around or just go siteseeing as a hike.
