The walking trails are gorgeous here. Best to go in fall; the foliage is amazing. You could have a snack in Lexington Center beforehand, or there are some good ethnic restaurants in Arlington.

I visited this park over the Memorial Day weekend. The visit was an excellent companion to the Boston Tea Party Museum which I visited earlier. The Minuteman National Historic Park has a section that is near Hanscom Air Force Base. That is where I started...More

I grew up in Massachusetts but never visited this park until a recent return trip with my son. We will definitely go back there! What a fun day, even on a rainy and cold spring day it was a great place to visit. Loved walking...More

Museum has a nice introductory film, but the real magic is all along the road. It is interesting to imagine this slice of history. A great side stop is the sleepy hollow cemetery to check out authors row

This is a well managed park with about 5 different parking lots, so you can stop and look at the sites and walk the Battle Trail. Two of the car parks have toilets. There are information boards which point out places of interest, but it...More

This is an interesting area with the emphasis on history. Don't miss the video in the Visitors' Center as it will provide context for the surrounding areas.

Not being one to hike (especially in the summer heat) we drove and stopped at most of the Minuteman park's sites. The short videos in both the North visitor center and the one in Lincoln (near Concord) are great and should definitely be done first...More
