Nice place to sit and watch the Yachts and boats got in to Marblehead or up to Salem. Benches to sit on if you want as well as an undercover area. Its a lovely drive from Marblehead over the Causeway to get there.

This park is a great destination for all. There are many benches for those who like to sit and watch the boats coming and going. Room to run around or climb on rocks for kids. Parking is somewhat limited.

Chandler Hovey Park provides a spectacular view of Marblehead Harbor, across to Salem and Beverly. Great spot to watch the sailboat races depart and return on Wednesday nights and Sundays. Best onshore fishing spot for stripers. Good free parking, as well.

This is a very nice relaxing spot and also very romantic. It is a wonderful wide view of the busy Harbor with very nicely placed benches for you to sit and watch the sailboats. Just lovely!

The lighthouse here is a little odd and out of character with others we visited in New England. However, the park does provide great views of Marblehead harbour which is packed with boats. Definitely worth a visit.

Stopped here to relax and enjoy the stunning views. After a stressful day dealing with work, clients, and deadlines, a stroll here and some quiet time on the bench overlooking the sailboats melted it all away! Somewhat limited, but free, parking.

My wife and I visited this park with our two toddlers, one infant, and my parents. We all were very impressed by the vista this park offered. To the left, a wide, sweeping view of the Marblehead harbor which was filled with hundreds of sailboats...More
