The hike up to Cascade Waterfall is easy and beautiful. It follows the creek all the way to the falls. Once at the falls, you can climb out the rocks in the creek to get a better view.

I followed the directions of previous reviewers and parked at the YMCA/Elementary School. The sign for the path is across from the entrance to the school, but the path doesn't show. Just go to the right along the drive and a paved path will show...More

This is a very beautiful moderate hiking spot. You are walking up a very gradual hill to the top to see a lovely waterfall that made it worthwhile. Their is nothing prettier than a walk through the New England woods in the fall or spring.

A local favorite trail along Notch Brook in North Adams ending at the Cascades, a lovely "horsetail" waterfall that can be a trickle or a torrent. A relatively short walk, 45 minutes round trip, unless you linger along the way or in front of the...More

This was exactly the hike we wanted: a well marked non-paved hike in a beautifully wooded environment with a waterfall payoff at the end. I will say that I wouldn't categorize it as "easy" since for me that means a flat walk on a paved...More
