Had to try the vaunted :$11.50 lobster roll at Young's on our recent visit to the Cape. We were not disappointed. The roll was stuffed with a good amount of large chunks of claw meat and was delicious. Highly recommended. Note: This is not an eat-in restaurant, but strictly take-out. Can stay and eat while checking out the small harbor... More

We stumbled onto this place while checking out the waterfront in Orleans. I knew it was there, so we stopped to get a few lobster rolls. The rolls are hot dog style, not buttered or toasted. There are no greens or spices added, just mayo, we thought it was a bit heavy on that. As others said, not the best... More

This is actually a small well kept white shack right in the Rock Harbor Parking lot which sells freshly caught fish and live lobsters brough right off the boat within a day of being caugth but usually its every morning, right out of the harbor, to take out and prepair on your own at home... The plus part is that... More

The lobster roll is $11.50 this year which is a good value but not enough for me to rave about. Too much mayo and not enough chunks of lobster. The clam chowder was very delicious according to my family member.

Visiting Orleans, I had 3 lobster rolls from here during week. VG Lobster Roll (NOT THE BEST i EVER HAD BUT VG)and for a great price! Best Value. Beautiful surrounding dock/inlet area. Also tried the smoked blue fish-fantastic. The crab & seafood cakes were also VG. Disappointed, chowder wasn't ready to try.....

At the risk of having too many tourists complete with me for the food, I have to tell you that this is a MUST try for lobster roll enthusiasts. It is NOT a restaurant and only does take out lobster rolls and chowder. It is a tiny FRESH fish market on the Rock Harbor Pier. The rolls filled with a... More

We like to try new places as we travel around the east coast, this was a great roll, but it did have too much mayo and I would have preferred a toasted bun, all that being said, the lobster meat somehow stood out over the mayo in most bites and at 10.50 you really can't beat the value.

I admit to eating a lobster roll for lunch 3 days straight from Youngs! On Day 1 the lobster roll was a bit skimpy on the usual amount of meat and had too much mayo and wasn't well chilled. Days 2 and 3 lobster rolls were chuck full of fresh lobster meat - at least a claw and a half... More

To some degree, I think that opinions about lobster rolls on the Cape are similar to opinions about Chinese restaurants in the New York area. People tend to prefer the places which are the most familiar. For us, Young's is the favorite lobster roll in the area. We prefer to take our lobster rolls to a Cape Cod league baseball... More

The lobster roll was very good. Mayo based, bun was not toasted, lobster amount was very good. I would not say it is as good as James Hook in Boston, but at 10.50 in comparison to 17.00-23.00 in other establishments, this has to be the best value/taste for lobster rolls. Clam Chowder was excellent also.
