What a happy surprise! Not only is it off the beaten path, this unmarked (from the road) Audubon sanctuary is like a walk through Rivendell (Lord of the Rings). Beautiful forests along a cascading stream, a nice hike up to a rocky crag that has sheltered porcupines for generations, lovely moss covered stones along the path.. these are some of... More

Very neat little area. This is an Audubon place, but having a membership is well worth it. Babbling brooks, fun trails, the possibility of seeing Porcupines. This is a must see for any casual hiking family.

First time visit and loved this beautiful woodland reserve. There are several different trails, but not super extensive, all of which inter-link allowing for short or long hikes. We walked all of the trails which took about an hour and 20 minutes with some stops along the way. Some of the trails I would consider “intermediate” moderate hiking with elevations... More
