This house belonged to a cousin a long, long time ago. The Winslows. They were the original owners so we wanted to see it. Though a lot of it was remodeled in the 1800s and 1900s there is still some original sections. It has been decorated in period furniture though not the original furniture. It is well kept. We had... Every room is authentic to detail and the guides tell you about the house in great detail. It really shows how people lived in an other time.

A "MUST"" FOR EVERY AMERICAN, especially during this election year--at a time when "American values" are touted by one and all -yet so many Americans have grown up without any sound grounding in the "facts" of our national history. Here is Plymouth, cradle of the 1st English settlements. Our small group of friends had such an exciting sidetrip here after... More

It was a biyt an hour and quite informative. A bed belonging to Mayflower Richard Warren was an unexpected surprise. The entrance fee included a very nice infomrative full... More

We stumbled upon here on our visit to Plymouth. What a gem of a place! We took a guided tour and as there were only four on the tour, it felt like a privileged look into old Plymouth. Our guide was very well informed and only too pleased to answer questions. Recommend to everyone and if you are descended from... More

We stopped into the library to get information on Mayflower ancestry. The woman at the desk was quite knowledgeable and friendly. Beautiful building and gardens. We did not go into the main building but admired it from the driveway.

Wonderful location to downtown. Information and data is immense and remarkable. If you want to know about the "Founders" or see if you are related, this is your place.

Beautiful home!! The staff there was incredibly knowledgeable, very helpful, and answered all of our questions. As we are descended from one of the Pilgrims this home was a perfect place to visit. Also, no ropes keeping you out of rooms!!

If you are a member of the Mayflower, be sure to tell them -- members get a discount. Was also told that members can call and reserve overnight accomodations (for a fee of course), but don't know any more than that. This house was built by one of the great grandchildren of Mayflower descendent Edward Winslow. If you love seeing... More

It was a beautiful home and an interesting tour, but if you are looking for Mayflower pieces, it's better to go to the Pilgrim Hall Museum.
