We stopped at the Visitor Information Center on our way into Plymouth. The two gentlemen on duty were friendly and extremely helpful. They provided sightseeing information, and recommended good neaby eateries. This was definitely a worthwhile stop.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. They know what's going on around town, how to best get there and how to best enjoy it. You should stop in here first on your visit to plymouth and talk to the staff.

This is a nice little gift shop with some goodies at a good price. I found some nice pot holders and cranberry candies to take home.

There are a number of cruises that will take you out to the islands, or more specifically out fishing. I'm sure that anyone, regardless of age would enjoy doing this. The visitors center can help in directing you to the... More

We would like to stay in the historic center of Plymouth, if there is such a thing. We would want to walk in the evening among shops, small local restaurants, perhaps along a waterfront. Please suggest moderate-priced hotels in that such a location. Thank you.

We stayed outside of Plymouth proper so I don't know much about the in-town accommodatations, but along Water Street you can see much of what the Pilgrims saw. If you want to really understand the evolution of the... More
