I live in Plymouth and bring people here all the time and get the same "holy cow" reaction. It's cool because it just sits in a neighborhood completely out of place...which makes it cooler.

Very interesting statue and well worth a visit. Most notable is the lack of eye detail on the women of the statue. Not sure if there is a significance to that, and will do some further research. We enjoyed our visit, and returned a second...More

While it has immense historical significance, it's a statue on a hill. There's nothing else really around it. Go seek it out just to see it but know its off the main area.

Everyone that was on the Mayflower has their name on it. They were the parents of our republic. Not many people get to visit this site.

Just come to Plymouth, visit the visitors center. You can see the monument just by walking to it. Easy distance. Or, there are trolley tours that will take you to the highlights of Plymouth. Very inexpensive!
