There is lots of room to walk and take in the sites and sea scents. October is too chilly to go for a swim, but it is perfect for taking a sea side stroll.

Previous reviewer is correct in that there are a lot of rocks, but maybe tide was further out when I was there. I had no trouble walking closer to shore and sand was plentiful the closer to town I walked. Enjoyed having the beach to myself on a nice fall morning.

This is a nice beach, but get here early. It gets busy in the nice weather and the parking is limited. If you are local, you will want to buy the beach pass, otherwise it is like $15 to park for the day.

Calm water and not super crowded. Our daughter (2.5) had a great time. There is also a restaurant and bathrooms nearby for extra convenience.

The beach car park was packed with sightseers all checking out the waves and wind from the tropical storm. There were quite a few kite-boarders in the water taking advantage of the wind.

Stopped late in the day and didn't have to pay to park also not too crowded at that time. Walked a bit and took pictures. Has public restrooms and a little place to eat.

Hiking from parking area along wooded path to stairs to beach that has large rocks and sandy beach. Saw seals and nice view of Cape Cod Bay
