We arrived too late to go in the lighthouse but were pleasantly surprised by access to a wonderful beach. There were adults and kids playing, dogs as well and they were leashed as required. The beach was covered with small dead fish and we wondered...More

We tried to make our way down to the lighthouse from the beach and a major thunderstorm came out of nowhere, so we never got to make it all the way. Beautiful view.

We love to drive along the national seashore at 5:30 or 6am. It is quiet and the views are spectacular. Race Point is a great place to end.

This place does require a permit to park (from the Park Service). However, it does offer expansive beaches with very few people on them. We always enjoy spending an afternoon walking down this lovely part of Massachusetts.
