All around the town hall was decorated for xmas. The lights were so pretty at night which adds to the overall ambiance of Commercial Street.

What a surprise! People gathered around the outside of this working town hall give no clue to the incredible restoration inside. Visitors can see the wood paneled court room, meeting room and town offices all adored with signficant local art work from the past century. The public restrooms are upstairs so not easy for those who have trouble climbing stairs... More

We used the rewstrooms. Very clean. The building is historically interesting. Many people gather outside. We enjoyed looking around and talking to many different folks.

If you gotta go, here's as good a place as any. And the building itself is beautiful as well. There are other bathrooms throughout the town, esp on the bay side but this is also a good meeting place, as well as, a shelter from the storm.

This building is right in the middle of town very close to the Pilgrim Monument. It is arguably more impressive than the monument. It is somewhat majestic. I went to the second floor to use the public restroom which was spotless. When I got to the landing, I noticed the doors were open to the auditorium so I went in... More

The cheaper seats are just as good and you'll see well. I prefer the balcony seats. It's an older building so the one... More

It is a pity that this hall does not offer more than public restrooms. The paintings in the stairways are intriging. But there is explication.

If you were walking down commercial Street in the town hall building is open take a minute and step inside. Stroll the hallways looking into all of the offices and you will see an amazing collection of American artist hanging on the walls.
