This charming library is stunning. There is a 1/2 scale model of an actual boat built into the library! Gotta see it!

Be sure to stop at the library to see the half-size model schooner on the second floor. How did they do that?

This former church, now a beautifully restored public library, is a great place to stop in to take in some great views, enjoy some free wifi and to check out a super cool, half scale replica model ship that was constructed inside on the second floor with the masts extending up into the third floor and ceiling. It is absolutely... More

I ve been here many times but the desk librarians always act as if you are intruding in them. With like no one in the place they act miffed that you ask a question. if you want to use wifi you must enter a 20 digit long key code. There is additional reek of some residence challenged (homeless) on the... More

Once the Center Methodist Episcopal Church, the Provincetown Library is quite nice inside. There was a “book” group meeting in one of the side rooms and several people using the computers available for patron use. There are several neat exhibits on display. I took a number of pictures at this site but, unfortunately, many did not save from the transfer... More

It's worth the trip to Provincetown just to see the amazing half-scale (but still huge) model of the schooner Rose Dorothea, built by Provincetown native Francis "Flyer" Santos. Every detail is complete, and the masts rise into the ceiling. Also worth the trip is the view from the top-floor front window. From here, you can see the entire harbor as... More

Don't miss this...they have done a fabulous job of updating this interesting historical structure and unbeliably there is a replica of an awarding winning sailboat in the middle of the library with the mast reaching to the roof. Really something..
