Great place to relax, find a restroom, walk on the piers. Parking is available. Assume it fills up quickly on weekends during 'the season". Don't try to drive down Commercial Street, too narrow, too many people. Parking in the area may be expensive, but then...More

Although pretty far from the beach, there is a nice observation deck where you can see whales, the binoculars that are there are cool to use.

This Visitors Center has some very informative displays and also a good selection of souvenirs. However, the best thing is the roof gallery from where there are fantastic views of the beaches and the whole area of dunes. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Okay, so we didn't actually make it to Race Point Beach, but we did visit the Visitor Center early morning and we were one of the first to arrive. No charge for parking. What caught my attention here was that there is an amphitheater. Next...More

This National Seashore visitors center is located in a beautiful spot on the tip of the Cape. There is a viewing platform on the roof with great views of the ocean and headlands.

I stopped at the visitors center for the sole purpose of seeing Race Point beach from that vantage point. It did not disappoint. The double deck provided amazing views of the vegetation, sea grass, sand, dunes, and water. The walk to the water is beautiful.

There are a couple of National Seashore centers out on the Cape with a gift shop, observation deck, movie theatre, etc. This one has a great view of the sea at the tip of the Cape.

This is one of the few places you don't have to pay $10-20 for an entrance/parking fee. It's free, high up on the dunes, great view of natural landscape & coast. Only drawback is that it's not directly on the ocean & there's not access...More
