Stopped here our first day in Cape Cod. Very informative visitor center with plenty of parking. You can stroll the grounds or have a picnic as the ships pass by.

You get a welcome feeling as you enter. You can board a full sized tug boat that is inside the building. Displays and info about the Canal readily available. They also have a small gift shop. Friendly staff. Enjoy!

We had a really good welcome and shown around by the lady on reception. Interesting museum, quite small. Huge car park, presumably for when important ships go down the canal

We spent a rainy afternoon exploring the visitor center. The video of the canal's history was very entertaining and educational. It was fun to walk around on the Renier Canal Patrol Boat.

This is a great spot to stroll along the canal (or rent a bike), to watch the boats come and go, and also to get the history of the canal.

We called into the center at the start of our visit to Cape Cod, and looking at the photos on the walls and watching the film in the theater really brought our visit to life. We took a walk along the canal itself, it is...More
