For my husband and I, this was an opportunity for us to see how, when and why the canal was built (don't skip the theatre show - the movie contains a lot of information). For a child, however, this is a fun place to climb...More

Great place. Very informative about the canal and its history. Excellent for kids. Lots to read. The live canal radar was mesmerising.

A great place to go for the young and old. No charge to get in (donation accepted) Took the grand kids and they had a great time, a lot of hands on things to do. Very interesting on how the canal was built.

We stopped here and found it to be very interesting and informative. It has different things for various age groups. Quality decor also. Nice walk down to the water.

All ages will find something interesting. Children activities as well as engineering and nautical information for adults! Watch how they track boats in the canal, an informative woman, with an amazing amount of detail answered every question.

A good stop for anyone curious about the Cape Cod Canal and it's history. There's even a retired canal patrol boat in there! Things for children to do too.

We spent the afternoon touring the visitors center, walking the jetty and took some chairs to sit and watch the boats and fishermen on the canal. What a gem! There are also good seafood restaurants within a walk and of course, ice cream!
