Every Spring a breakfast stop must !

I have been coming to breakfast every maple sugaring season! If you are visiting the pioneer valley and traveling up the Mohawk trail, start with breakfast here!

I really can't understand what is all about. There is nothing special with this place or pancakes, except it's overpriced. $12 for just pancakes is too much in my opinion. Maple syrup is just syrup. You can try but I don't see any point to go there just to try maple syrup.

This is a wonderful Sugar House with over 50 years of sugar-making experience. Walk right inside the sugar house and watch them stoke the evaporator with over 3 cords of wood per day, and see the syrup come right out of the machine. Stand within feet of the equipment and the workers, while the steam rises to the rafters and... More

The wait is long but worth it. The breakfast 🍳 is very good. You should go there for the experience.

Several people recommended Gould's to satisfy my maple syrup addiction. So I traveled from North Adams in October, about a 40 min drive and discovered they were making it fresh in the back barn. The smell was intoxicating. The owner let me sample the light variety that was currently in production and I swooned. The flavor exceeded any syrup I... More

I love maple syrup and pancakes. SO I LOVED eating here! Sitting at wood tables (made from maple trees?), and sap bucket lights overhead enhance the old timey feel of this family run business. The pancakes are light and fluffy and the maple syrup simply delicious. There is also a store you can purchase all sorts of maple related foods... More

On a leaf peeping drive my mother and I stopped in to shop and have a late breakfast. We had to wait a short while, which gave us time to watch the video on the process of making maple syrup. Breakfast was delicious and features their own syrup. They also have hot apple cider, it was delicious!!!! After breakfast we... More

Not inexpensive but worth the extra for the unique corn fritters and the tasty pancakes. All served with real maple syrup.

Gould's in Shelburne Falls, MA is a real treasure, but it is hard to find open. I finally asked. Since it is a maple sugaring operation, they are really only open in March/April, and then again during foliage season, Sept/October/. Open from 8 AM to 2 Pm. But the building is original and rustic. Expect picnic tables and benches. Steps... More

We have been going to Gould's for 45 years. We go every fall and sometimes in the spring. It's our annual family "Pickles and Pancakes" outing. The food is amazing...homemade sausage, the best pancakes ever, but it might be the homemade pickles that keeps us coming back! We often have to wait for a table, but the wonderful breakfast is...
