Travelling to this point on the island by bicycle was a treat. We rode past gorgeous homes right along the coast. The Beach is suffering severe erosion and all efforts are being made to maintain it as is. The history of this coastline and the...More

I teally enjoyed seeing this lighthouse. I enjoy visiting them. You cannot go in this one, however. Has some information posted onsite that is worth the read. Nice end to the Bluff Walk.

This has been my favorite stop on Nantucket! It is breathtaking! The lighthouse is beautiful and the setting around it is amazing! Definitely worth a visit!

This is a tough place to get to, but with a jeep and patience, well worth the visit. We picnicked on the beach with lots of seals and were rewarded with a whale passing by us just offshore.

Took a drive out to Sankaty to visit the Light which was moved in 2007 to it's new location back from the cliff.

We went out to the lighthouse and spent a bit of time just strolling around the grounds. Interesting historical information and a stellar view.

It's situated on the cliffs right past a gorgeous neighborhood and has a beautiful view. The lighthouse was not open when we were there, but the lighthouse itself is beautiful and there are information stands where you can learn the history. It's a must see.

Pretty striking lighthouse especially for lighthouse fans. We took a cab to that side of the island. About 10 min away from town center.

Nice Walk from Siasconsett village, reached by bus from Nantucket Town. The light house had to be moved in 2008 because of bluff érosion. So it is interesting to see the changing landscape.
