I love highpoints and my wife loves lighthouses. This had both. 10 mile bike ride from town. Scenic, but nothing else there. Just a parking lot and the lighthouse. Nice spot for a picnic.

we saw this lighthouse on the island tour. It is on a golf course and in very good shape. It was recently moved and restored and was lit.

The Sankaty Head Lighthouse is a "must see" while in Nantucket. You can drive, ride a bike or see it on a tour. Any way you get there will be well worth it. Built in 1860 and is a land mark. The views are beautiful.

Probably one of the prettiest lighthouse anywhere, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean on one side and the Sankaty Golf Club on the other, it's in the Sconset area of the island. If you can do the Cliff Walk on the way out to the lighthouse.

The historical nature around this lighthouse is very impressive and very well preserved. Easy hike or bike ride from Sconset area on Nantucket.

This lighthouse was moved back from the eroding cliff. We walked to the fence and saw the erosion. Nice that they are saving the light, which is still operating. You cannot go inside or climb up, but it is lovely nonetheless.
