My daughter and I went on an impromptu trip. The staff member (owner?) was really knowledgeable and kind to my daughter. We did 3 activities and she walked away with a LOT of beautiful stones. It was a great memory we will treasure!

We stopped on our way home after Magic Wings and had a great time. There were 3 different activities that my 7 & 9 year olds loved. Will be back next time!

We stopped here on a whim on the way home from Magic Wings Butterfly Conservatory. It's a cute place and the guy working there was friendly. The mine is fun, although a bit silly. The dinos outside aren't as good as other places, but the kids liked them. We paid for 3 kids to mine and they shared a $20... More

The family enjoyed a session of rock mining, and we bought some bags of treasures to take home as well.

Stopped by to check it out guy is very rude! Spoke to the 5&7 yr old it was "their choice" about activities. If an adult asked how it worked, price ect you received snippy replies & looks of disgust. Handed the kids $20 sand bags when others were $8 & $10. Almost a nightmare! Will NEVER go back!! The stones... More

I stopped in on a whim and ended up falling in love. I used to volunteer at a discovery center in a museum and we had similar kids activities. Everything is reasonably priced, especially considering that if you do activities you get to go home with what you find! And if you think museum gift shops have the best presents... More

We spent a fun 45 minutes here -- first mining together, then panning for treasures. Everybody is looking forward to another visit.

Calling all rock enthusiasts! A great experience for my 5 yo and 8 yo. We did the mining experience first where we went into a dark mine shaft and hunted for hidden rocks and fossils with headlamps. Then we panned for more rocks using the sluice. The shop is small, but some great rocks and gifts to choose from. I... More
