Went skiing on a Sunday with my 9 year old daughter. Good mix of trails. My daughter especially liked going through the woods. Friendly staff. Food was better than average. Didn’t feel overwhelmed. Nice memories.

Well cared for trails, lifts and equipment. Ski mid week and you can ride uncrowned lifts and ski until you drop. Ideal for avid skiers - personally, I avoid weekends and crowds. The real concern is with the bar/kitchen hours. The bar kitchen opens at...More

16 runs in 3 hours and 15 minutes, on a sunny, 20 degree afternoon. The $20 ticket makes the 82 mile car trip worth it, and no waiting in lift lines! Despite getting there after noon, I got an empty parking space up front. Out...More

Our oldest became a good snow boarder here. Plenty of trails I’m not practiced enough to use. Does suffer the fate of being icy. Offers night skiing. Lodge a bit crowded on holiday weekends. Food is pricey.

This is one of the last family run ski areas in the world. You feel like you own it, and they run it like they own it - because they do. I saw the owner directing traffic - because I know that he cares. Located...More

Crazy fun!! For beginners to the most experienced of any age. Staff very knowledgable, patient and helpful. 3 hours gives enough time to have a thrilling experience even if it is your first time.

This is is fantastic family mountain. We went after a big blizzard and they left moguls on some black trails which was so much fun. My kids loved the trails through the woods as well. It has some steeper runs and scenic easy runs. Staff...More

Hadn't skied in several years, and have only skied in CO. Catamount was great, despite the 5 degree weather we skied in. Staff were friendly and helpful. The process set up for renting all the gear was well planned. The cafeteria offered pretty decent food....More
