This is a rather small art museum on the campus of Brandeis University. There are two floors sparsely hung with exhibits, the largest of which was, at this time, sketches of female nudes submitted by students and visitors. There is a video studio with a very bizarre film and a large studio dedicated to a single piece of projection art.... More

We went on a Friday night, one of the few evening hours open. I was expecting a lot more artwork. The gallery with the most art was filled with women in various poses of immodesty. If you have 30 minutes to kill, parking and walking to the museum will take 10 leaving 20 minutes in and out.

Our son is at Brandeis so we have visited the Rose Art Museum several times. It has exhibitions that change so there is always something new and interesting to see. Worthwhile to visit if you are in the area.

Not for the faint of heart to see plastic buckets and huge Mefisto shoe box as an exposition in the Museum. Not when you are over 70 and saw the best museums in the world. But it was interesting, educational and different. Never too late to learn! And we'll come back for more! And it was rainy anyway!

Wonderful modern art. A little gem on the Brandeis campus. Complete free and a great collection of art.

The changing exhibits they mount are always interesting and thought provoking. Worth a visit for certain! And the price can't be beat!

The Rose Art Museum is a great small, free museum on the campus of Brandeis College. They specialize in modern and contemporary art, and generally have quite good exhibits. It's pretty much just the right size so that you can see the whole thing in one visit and really be able to take the art in. It's a nice facility,... More

A tiny art museum at Brandeis. Not much of a collection, but go there if you're on campus or in the neighborhood.

The Rose Art Museum is a fine college art museum. It generally has interesting exhibits. There is no admission fee, and free parking is generally available.
