We went on a sunny day to enjoy the trails we had not taken before and to get new fall photographs to share. The trails are well marked, maintained and easy to use. While not accessible for wheelchairs, these are fine for families and older adults. Nice settings, adequate parking but no picnic tables were there.

Field Farm has some beautiful views, the pond life is interesting to observe and the trails are relatively well maintained. Just beware that if you visit after a recent rain, trails will be boggy in parts. So be prepared to get a bit muddy! This location is ideal for strolling and picnics and for taking photos.

I tried two trails and were all very well kept--the North Trail was muddy when I went, but it rained the day before

If you don't stay at the guest house, just park and walk around the (new) trail through the fields and forests. Very flat hike -- no climbing -- the mountains are there, but to be seen not climbed! Some unusual outdoor artwork near the guest house, and a natural pond. To help you out on your hike, download the GoTrustees... More

Popped in during a quick weekend trip to the Berkshires. Just a pretty stroll through nature. Had fun trying to spot the frogs in the pond (mostly heard them jumping and saw the ripples, but caught a glimpse or two) and just enjoyed the lush green scenery.

One problem with trying to see fall foliage in New England is getting far enough away from the forest and still being close enough to get the full effect of fall. Field Farm ,as the name implies has broad meadows surrounded by forests covering mountains. Pick a peak fall afternoon and go for a hike.take your camera along.b

The place is pretty, but the hostess appears to resent visitors. She didn't even make us a fresh breakfast in the morning -- just served us some leftovers. If she hates her work so much, she should go into a different business.

Dear Margaret, Thank you for your review. Honest, heartfelt comments from our guests help us to improve our service and commitment to a great experience at Field Farm. I am sorry to hear that your breakfast experience at the Guesthouse was not up to your expectations. We often have fresh baked Quiche, Strata or French Toast available, but failing that,... More

I was amazed by the design of the guest house at Field Farm that they call "The Folly". So many angles and curves to create a unique little house sited with a wonderful view of Mount Greylock.

Great trails, good birding. In winter, excellent XC skiing. Like other places around here, it's worth a visit 11 months of the year (March is "mud month"). As I live in Williamstown, I haven't stayed at the B&B, but I hear it's nice. At the western end of Sloan Road is Cricket Creek Farm, also worth a short visit--if only... More

Very unique, mid-century furnishings on an unbelievably quiet and beautiful piece of land. Go, walk, sit in the sunshine, read, walk some more. Enjoy breakfast!
