We drove to Wood's Hole today to see the Aquarium and we were not disappointed. It is a very nice aquarium with lots of information and good many species of fish...all local. This aquarium is free, open to the public. Worth a stop!

Spent an hour in this small but nicely laid out and informative aquarium. The exhibits were great and I certainly learned a thing or two of the aquatic life native to New England waters which is the whole premise of establishments such as this. I...More

Although small, I was quite surprised and fascinated at the variety of specimens within the tanks. I recommend not rushing through this amazing place - take advantage of the "sounds in the ocean" display and the audio of fisherman's stories.

Great local resource! Free entrance and you can watch the seals being fed twice a day. Interesting insight into the local ecology

This free small aquarium had a nice exhibit of native fish to the area and a touch tank. Information about fishing and the Cape was good and we learned a lot. A nice visit on a not crowded day. We enjoyed it!

this museum is quite small and not quite what we expected, I hoped for a long rainy day excursion, but we were through the museum in about 30 minutes.

This is a nice thing to do on a rainy day and it is open in April when a lot of things are not up and running yet. There are not that many tanks, but they are well marked and you can view them from...More

Great place for the young folks! Some exhibits are hands on, but this is not the New England Aquarium :-) An hour would do it. Walk around the corner to the docks and check out the working boats too, this should keep them... More
