Riverwalk Pier is a part of the long walkway along the Saginaw River. People use the walkway to roller skate, ride bikes or to just take a nice walk. The pier stretches out about 1/3 of the way into the river and for ship enthusiasts it's great to watch a ship go by.

Located on the City's west side of the Saginaw River, the Riverwalk Pier offers a great resting place. The pier extends over the river, and offers park benches to sit and watch the boat traffic, from small pleasure crafts, sail boats, and the large great lakes freighters. The pier is attached to the Riverwalk, which offers fresh air, exercise, and... More

This park is very nice for a few minutes of outdoors walk at night, there are lights and the over all experience it's relaxing after a hard day of work. Highly recommend for those businesses guests at Courtyard Marriott Bay City.

We took a nice leisurely walk along here. Well marked, great views, and not too many people. We did see a larger boat going out that you could charter. It does not go anywhere really just up and down the river. Benches to rest on if needed. Bags supplied for your pets deposits if needed. Nice area. There is some... More

Attended wedding here which was nice. River was peaceful and was a nice backdrop to the ceremony. Walking around after the ceremony was enjoyable. It was overcast and windy that day so I'm not sure how busy it is when the weather is nice.

walking is important for our health, but walking can be very boring at times. But at the riverwalk, there is always something to look at. For being a small town, Bay City, does a great job of bringing different events in their town. I've been to the Tall Ships, the best fireworks show ever and many other events there. Playground... We enjoyed wandering around Riverwalk Pier on a recent stay in Bay City. There is, obviously, a great view of the river and the two tall ships (available for daily sails in season) are parked there. There is also some nice sculptural artwork, a cool fountain, and plenty of places to sit and relax. Really nice addition to the riverfront... More

You want to walk. Go at your own pace and - surprise- have something to look at! Well here it is. The walk is good, wheelchair, stroller, or just by foot. Go for it and enjoy the sun. Hey, the color is changing, the days are shorter so get yourself out there!

We build time into our trips to stop when we find a place that pleases us. The "Walk" is one of those. No bars, tourist hangouts or crowds. It's so clean, quiet and relaxing. Families, dog and owners and people reading books while on a bench or at an umbrella table. All the while an occasional boat on a gently... More

They have done a really nice job creating a comfortable enjoyable place to walk along the river , it would be great if the geese would stay away so you don't have to dodge the poop
