It is a truly amazing museum. I would consider it to be the main Rosie the Riveter museum in the US. They have a great collection from WWII through the Vietnam war. The staff is truly knowledgeable and has a quaint little gift shop. What stands out about this museum is it allows a local college the opportunity for the... More

The Yankee Air Museum is in a smaller building waiting for their new building g to be refurbished. Nevertheless, the have fantastic displays, high quality memorabilia, and provide a great sense of History. Great for kids with many displays and simulators focused on the kids; great for adults who love history.

It's always fun to see a great collection of old iron that's for sure. Had a great time chatting with the folks at the museum. Very well informed. It is even made more fun since I've flown some of the equipment that now sits in the museum. Thanks everybody, and keep up the good work!

Best damn airshow I have ever attended . . . and I have attended plenty! I attended the show both days (Saturday and Sunday) and never got bored. I did opt for the "Officer's Club" VIP tent which made my daily stay most enjoyable (included breakfast, lunch, alcoholic/alcoholic drinks, free program brochure, reserved seats right at the center of the... We are thrill seekers and enjoyed our visit to the Yankee Air Museum's Air Show at Willow Run Airport. We brought our own fold out chairs and cooler. Food and drink tents were available with a variety of American foods. Family friend event with choppers, WWII planes, and local government vehicles.

Yankee Air Museum is located at Willow Run Airport, a very historic site as planes were made there for World War II. There is a Woman's Officers Club there - these women flew the planes to deliver them to deploy to war. Also, great vintage airplanes and a static plane display outside, a great place to visit if you are... More

My wife and I took our grandson and had a great time. We took one of the tours and then walked around. We were there for three hours and there was still more to see. It was an excellent and fun learning experience. We will go back soon and looking forward to the new building.

Meh. First timer. Two things were awesome: F-22 and the Breitling jets. Rest of the show was bland. Not really an air show. Ever been to the EAA in Oshkosh? Planes from all years in the air all the time all day. The rest of this.place seemed like this was their first time running an airshow-- and its not! Some... More
