If you sit still and quiet for about ten minutes the birds become used to you and give you musical entertainment with your... More

Beautiful river and nature walk. Not far from the charming historical district. I would recommend taking this walk if you find yourself in the area!

We take our two dogs on Riverwalk almost every morning. Our grandchildren learned to ride bikes there. It joins the White Pine Trail so that extension bicycling or longer walks can use both trails. In the spring it is alive with wildflowers and in fall the colors are amazing.

Great place to get away along the river. Beautiful scenery. I've taken many long walks along this pathway. Worth the effort.

Saw signs so we stopped to walk off our lunch. Nice views up and down the river. Worth a few minutes.

The Art Festival offered many different and unique art presentations for all to enjoy. The location is along the river banks. Nice shady areas to rest in between shopping. Just a block or two from town and with in walking distance. Great area for family gatherings too. Nice big pavilion with tables.

You can get away without going far. The dog likes to come along and is welcome (on leash of course)..

This is a very nice park, easily accessible with ample parking. The trail is mostly paved, some gravel and some boardwalk. A nice place to stretch the legs, without a lot of physical intensity.

I lived in Big Rapids earlier in my life, long before the city realized the treasure it had available along the Muskegon River. Moving back to the area to find the Riverwalk, the Band Shell, and all the available city parks was a lovely surprise. Thanks to all for the hard work it took to make the Riverwalk area available...
