My favorite fall spot...

The Franklin Cider mill is a great outing for families and visiting out of towners! The cider is delicious and my children love the donuts. Be prepared with cash in hand.

This cider mill has the original water wheel and had be the go to place for the very best cider and donuts for as long as I can remember. Our kids are in their 50's and we took them there when they were in grade school. Through the years they have added many other delicious treats as well as maintaining... More

Love to visit this mill in the Fall. Warm donuts, cold, fresh cider, candy apples and best of all taking cider home to enjoy later. We are lucky in Michigan to have cider mills and this one is close to the city.

Great setting. Fantastic cider and baked goods. Parking lot is a bit congested and difficult to get in and out off.

Cider is a popular seasonal specialty in Michigan and there are numerous mills to choose from, all of which produce outstanding cider. However, the Franklin Cider Mill is in a class all by itself. It produces what I like to call 'liquid apples'...cider which has a clarity, flavor, and smoothness like no other. No one can touch them. Be forewarned,... More

Nothing says "Fall" quite like fresh cider & a hot scrumptious donut! I may be biased as we live nearby, but Franklin Cider Mill donuts eaten hot & fresh are awesome. Their cider is always delicious too. They also have fresh roasted cinnamon sugar coated almonds which are really addictive. The apple pie bread is yummy as is the apple... More

Despite the high prices, this place attracts large crowds--especially on weekends. We live nearby and are surprised by the typical long lines and lively chatter. Aside from the cider and donuts, there are many vendors selling other food items such as meats, cheeses, jams, produce, etc.

The Franklin Cider Mill opens on Labor Day weekend and closes on Thanksgiving week-end. I have been going there every year since I moved to the area and now take my grandchildren. They have yummy doughnuts, apple pies and various apple varieties as well as delicious cider. Franklin is a very quaint town with some very cute shops and has... More

Came in for the Apple Cider and warm doughnuts. Brought our daughter here for the first time. Very fond memories of this place. The doughnuts arent fancy but boy are they good and the fresh cider is awesome. Great michigan apples as well. Worth the trip everytime.
