This Arena will be missed, the old building the secret stairwell from the uppper last row, down to Olympia room. Will miss Olympia room having a meal downstairs with drinks before the start, seeing the old Alumni walk past and say Hi and shake your...More

Plenty of restaurants and food and beverage vendors, merchandise stores, restrooms and indoor mall type of new arena with tv’s everywhere. Great integration of the memory of Olympia Arena players and Joe Louis Arena players in to LCA. There was a silent auction while we...More

We saw a great Red Wings game! The place was clean and nicely set up. We were surprised at Home many good restaurants there were. Impressive light and sound system made for an enjoyable experience.

I love this arena, but I'm biased because I'm a Michigander and love the Red Wings. I've been a season ticket holder in the past and have seen many games here. It's just very comfortable and easy to navigate. I also like that you can...More

Love the wings but this place is out dated. Its a lively crowd and the wings are the best team in the NHL. So its hard not to have a good time. That is only if they lose. Go wings.

One of my favorite places. See ya, Joe, you will be missed. I watched a lot of hockey there over the years.

I can't think of a place that was filled with more history. I'm sorry to see it go. G'bye Joe, you'll be missed.

While the Red Wings aren't going to play here in the future, the memories of the Joe are special. With my brother, nephew's engagement, friends and doing fundraising projects with nonprofits, there are many memories here.

As I walk the Detroit riverwalk, I always climb the stairs at the former home of the Detroit Red Wings. There are beautiful murals painted highlighting some of the many performances held at JLA and of course Red Wings logo.

Anywhere but the top rows is usually a good area to sit. It's a smallish arena.

Easiest parking is at the ramp, but it is definitely not the cheapest! Are you spending the night if so many of the nicer hotels offer shuttle service. As far as where to eat, that depends on what you like as well as how... More

I would not bring a purse. They were rumors people were being turned away if they had a purse. I hid my small purse under my jacket. Only purse I saw was clear plastic.
